Delivery Policies

Furniture

To ensure quality service, we ask you to plan the location of your new furniture prior to the arrival of our delivery staff. It is also important to check beforehand that the furniture will fit through all of the tight spaces in your home (doorways, hallways, stairs). In those rare cases where space is very restricted, we may ask you for a liability waiver against any damage to your property.
If you live in a building with access to an elevator, we ask you to make sure it can be used when the delivery staff arrive.
Most of our dealers offer an assembling service. For more information, please get in touch with your dealer.

Appliances

For safety and insurance reasons, the installation of certain appliances requires the services of a licensed plumber. Gas appliances require the services of technicians specialized in the field, and are therefore your responsibility. We reserve the right to refuse to install an appliance deemed dangerous for your property.

Store Pick-up

You will be informed of the arrival of your items and can pick them up during store business hours.

Used Item Pick-up

Your dealer offers a used household item pick-up service. For more information, contact your local dealer.

Delivery Cancellation

Should you wish to cancel a delivery, you must inform us as quickly as possible. In the event of late cancellation or of a delivery not carried out due to your absence, fees may apply.

Waranty

All merchandise purchased is covered by the supplier’s warranty. If you discover any damage or breakage upon delivery or when you pick up your merchandise, please report it immediately and have it registered on your invoice or delivery slip so that your request may be accepted.

Dimensions and Colors

Despite the fact that we try to display the colours of our products as precisely as possible on our Web site, these remain approximate. We cannot guarantee this aspect, since colours may vary depending on the software or screen used.

Special Orders

Accent Meubles offers you a wide choice of colours, fabrics or leather on certain models to enable you to customize your furniture. However, Accent Meubles cannot be held responsible for delays in the manufacturing of furniture ordered. However, we are committed to keeping you informed should a new delivery date be necessary.

Purchasing Policy

By law, dealers are under no obligation to take back, exchange or produce a credit note for goods sold to you, unless they are defective.
If an item is defective, the dealer must exchange or repair it at no additional cost.
