CONSTRUCTION
Frames are composed of ¾ in. hardwood plywood (maple or oak) nailed and stapled.
Cushion seats come with 8 gauge wire no-sag coils tied together with paper-sheathed 12 gauge metal stems so that the coils work together. To prevent feeling the coils through the padding, they are wrapped in ¼ in. felt.
Seat cushions are composed of quality 1.9 cu. ft. foam (+/- 36 lb. compression) covered with tyreline. Non-reversible seat cushions are removable and have a zipper. Back cushions are padded with polyester (Dacron) stuffing and come with a zipper at the bottom. Finally, armrests have quality 1.5 lb. (+/- 38 lb.) foam padding.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Since the accumulation of dust will cause the fabric to wear more rapidly, we recommend that you vacuum your furniture regularly using the appropriate attachment for upholstered furniture. If possible, rotate the detached cushions for more even wear and longer life. To prevent color fading in the fabric, we recommend that your furniture been kept away from direct sunlight.
Professional cleaning of your furniture once a year will keep it good condition.
